Yes. We accept VISA, MasterCard and Discover credit cards.

How soon can I get my music?

If the music you order is in stock, our standard procedure is to mail your package the same day we receive your order. We will select the least expensive method of shipping that will meet the delivery deadline you have specified. For more details, see Shipping & Delivery.

What if you don’t have the music I want in stock?

When we do not have an item in stock, our standard procedure is to backorder it from our sources and mail it to you the day we receive it. (You can specify "no backorders" in the checkout process.) For more details, see Shipping & Delivery.

What is a backorder?

A backorder is an order we place for you for an item that we do not currently have in stock. We order the item from the publisher or a secondary source and ship it to you the day we receive it.

How long will my backorder take?

Backorders from domestic (U.S.) sources come to us in approximately 1 to 3 weeks. If your backorder comes from a foreign source or a slow publisher, it may take 4 to 6 weeks or even longer in some cases. We will ship your backorder to you the same day we receive it from our sources. If you have a deadline by which you must receive your music, please give us that information when you place your order. If it's not possible to meet your deadline, we'll notify you ASAP.

Is it possible to “rush” a backorder?

It is sometimes possible to get your backorder more quickly through the use of a service called a “drop-shipment”. In this case, we arrange for the publisher to send the music directly to you. In addition to shipping costs, publishers charge a special drop-shipment fee for this special service. All items ordered in this way are non-returnable. Please phone us at 952-948-5281 for specific availability and cost if you are considering requesting this service.

How do I place a "special order"?

A "special order" is an item we do not normally carry in our inventory but can order especially for you at your request. We do not currently have the capacity to take special orders through our internet website. If you wish to make a special order, please contact us by phone at 952-948-5281 or by email at orders@eble.com. (Note: all special orders are non-returnable.)

What is your return policy?

How do I search for a particular edition of a piece I want?

Enter the composer, instrument, and title in the keyword or advanced search features, or start on the left-hand side bar "Browse By Composer" feature by selecting the composer you want. The titles we stock by that composer will be listed alphabetically. You can scroll through this list or use the “show only" box to select the instrumentation of the piece you want. All editions of the same piece will be grouped together. Clicking on the title will show you the full name of the publisher. If you have any questions about editions, please call us at 952-948-5281.

What is an “urtext” edition?

This is a scholarly edition derived from researching the composer's original manuscript and other pertinent historical documents. Some urtext editions include historical commentary and information about performance practice. Because of the scholarship involved in preparing these editions, they are often more expensive than other editions.

What if I’m not sure of the piece I need?

If you do not have complete information or need help with your order, please call us during business hours at 952-948-5281. Our knowledgeable staff will be happy to assist you.

Are the prices on the website guaranteed?

No, a price given on the website represents the cost of the piece the last time we sold it. Due to periodic price changes made by the publishers, prices may vary. We will try to notify you if the price of an item you order has changed significantly from the website listing.
